Tallink Grupp warns against scam e-mails, SMS messages sent under shipper’s name

Estonian shipper Tallink Grupp is warning against scam e-mails and SMS messages sent under the company’s name that started spreading on Thursday.

Fraudulent e-mails started to spread on Thursday, in which recipients are asked to open orders allegedly received from Tallink, but in reality the purpose of the e-mails is to steal the recipients’ data and spread computer viruses.

Authentic Tallink e-mails are sent only from addresses ending in @tallink.ee, @tallink.com or @tallinksilja.com. The company urges the public to be vigilant when opening various messages and links and advises not to open the sent e-mails if in doubt.

If customers have doubts about the e-mails received from the company, the company asks them to contact Tallink Grupp specialists on the helpline +372 6 409 804.
