Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics on Tuesday met with Great Britain’s King Charles III and invited him and the royal family to visit Latvia, presidential adviser Martins Dregeris told LETA.
During his meeting with the King at Buckingham Palace, Rinkevics thanked Charles III for Britain’s friendship and support for Latvia.
The President is on a working visit to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland starting this week. During his visit, Rinkevics is scheduled to have an audience with the British King and meet with the Latvian community in the UK.
