Lithuania’s Eika Asset Management fund acquires BIG business center in Krakow

Eika Real Estate Fund (EREF), a fund managed by Eika Asset Management, a Lithuanian investment company, has acquired the BIG business center and a plot of land in central Krakow, the company said on Wednesday.

“With foreign investments retreating from Poland and almost all office liquidity remaining in Warsaw, the regional city office market has lost a large part of its liquidity,” Viktoria Orkine, CEO of Eika Asset Management, said in a statement.

The company did not disclose the value of the acquisition to BNS.

According to Orkine, the fund plans to continue investing in Polish logistics facilities, offices and retail parks.

Built in 2018 and located in the western part of central Krakow, the business center has an area of almost 11,000 square meters and its main tenants include State Street Bank, a US financial services company.
