In terms of popular job positions, the highest salary was offered in Estonia this year to doctors, who have taken overtaken IT specialists in terms of highest salary offers, it appears from an overview of nearly 8,800 public salary job offers of the CVKeskus.ee job portal.
In the comparison of the salary offers publicly presented in the job advertisements, the workers with the highest salary potential are doctors, for whom the salary range offered was on average 3,650-4,150 euros, followed by sales managers with offers in the range of 1,900-4,000 euros and IT sector specialists with offers ranging from 2,900 to 3,750 euros.
Salary offers for sales specialists this year ranged from 1,650 to 3,650 euros. In the sales sector, it is customary to link salary to performance pay, which is why the salary ranges offered are significantly larger compared to other sectors.
Salary offers for marketing managers have ranged from 2,400 to 3,350 euros this year. The 3,000 euro mark was also exceeded by the salary offers of site managers, where the salary offered was on average 2,750-3,050 euros.
High salaries have also been offered this year to production managers, whose salary offers have been on average 2,700-2,900 euros.
This year, the wages offered to builders have been on average 1,900-2,800 euros, while car mechanics have seen offers of 2,000-2,650 euros and electricians 1,800-2,600 euros. Salary offers for builders are boosted by job offers looking for workers abroad. In such job offers, salary offers for builders reached 4,200 euros. Leaving job offers abroad aside, the salary offered to builders this year has been 1,650-2,550 euros.
However, salary offers for nurses have risen the most over the year, by 20 percent, with the average salary offer ranging between 2,150 and 2,650 euros.
The 2,000-euro limit was also exceeded by accountants, who are offered 2,150-2,450 euros, welders, who are offered 2,000-2,350 euros, and marketing specialists, who are offered 1,800-2,250 euros.
Salary offers for teachers were on average 1,800–2,000 euros. The highest salary offers for teachers reached 2,800 euros.
The salary offers for cooks this year were on average 1,500-1,850 euros, while production workers saw offers of 1,250-1,750 euros, assemblers 1,250-1,700 euros, assistants 1,400-1,700 euros, bakers 1,300-1,700 euros, couriers 1,200-1,650 euros, forklift drivers 1,400-1,500 euros, customer service staff 1,150-1,350 euros and cleaning staff 1,100-1,250 euros.
While in Latvia and Lithuania salaries are public for almost all job offers, in Estonia the salary is disclosed in 40 percent of job offers. In comparison to the same period last year, salary offers were disclosed in 38 percent of job offers.
Employers have most boldly published salary offers in the education sector on the CVKeskus.ee job portal this year, where the salary offer is public in more than half of the job offers. Salaries are also public in about half of the job offers in law enforcement and security, catering and transport sectors.
Employers have published salary offers for jobs more than average also in the agricultural and customer service sectors.
Salaries are public least in the energy sector, where the salary is public for only 22 percent of job offers.
