Teleperformance LT, which is the Vilnius branch of the French customer experience management company Teleperformance, announced on Thursday that it will be hiring 80 new employees over the next few months.
Country director Natalia Iashchuk says that the company established its Vilnius office in 2015 with an initial team of 50 people. She adds that the latest expansion should bring staffing numbers close to 800.
“Teleperformance is also expanding globally and recently acquired Majorel,” Iashchuk declared in a news release. “This strategic step has further enhanced our capabilities and allowed us to bring in new international talent. This will strengthen our positions as a key player in the global market.”
The company’s Lithuanian office provides a range of business services, including customer support, technical assistance, back-office processing, digital solutions and social media management. Specialists provide services in various countries across the E-commerce, telecommunications, technology and financial services sectors.
“The team in Lithuania is a very important part of our process chain,” said Iashchuk.
Last year Teleperformance LT announced 110 layoffs, issuing notices to 30 employees in July and another 80 in October.
The company’s sole shareholder is Luxembourg Contact Centres, which is owned by France’s Teleperformance and is listed on the Paris Stock Exchange.
