Circle K Estonia suspends sale of 98 gasoline due to technical fault at terminal

As a result of a malfunction at a terminal, Circle K has suspended the dispensing of 98 octane gasoline at its filling stations in Estonia.

The sale of 98 octane gasoline will gradually resume over the course of the week following quality checks at individual stations.

The Circle K fuel dispensing terminal experienced a malfunction in a fuel dispensing pipe over the weekend. As a result, the quality of 98 octane gasoline may have been compromised at some Circle K filling stations. The fault at the terminal has since been eliminated.

“We would like to thank our customers for informing us of the problem, which allowed us to act very quickly and stop selling fuel at these stations,” said Raimo Vahtrik, sales director for motor fuels at Circle K Estonia.

The sale of 98 miles PLUS gasoline was suspended at all Circle K stations as a preventive measure to enable the conduct of quality checks over the course of the week. At stations where no problems are detected the sale of 98 octane gasoline will resume.

Vahtrik stressed that the problem only concerns 98 octane motor fuel, and no other types of fuel are affected.

The latest information about the closed and open Circle K service stations can be found in Estonian at www.circlek.ee/uudised .

Circle K is asking all vehicle owners who filled up with 98 milesPLUS on May 25 or 26, and who have noticed any deviations in the work of their vehicle’s engine, to contact Circle K customer service by sending an email to klienditeenindus@circlekeurope.com or by calling 675 7777.
