Circle K launches new automatic charging service in Estonia

Starting from Monday, all Circle K ultra-fast chargers across Estonia allow “plug and charge Autocharge” charging, a new convenient and easy way to charge an electric vehicle and pay for charging.

All the driver needs to do is connect the cable to the car, and the rest will be done automatically.

“In order to encourage the wider uptake of electric cars, it is important to offer simple solutions to electric car owners. This is exactly what Circle K wants. The new Autocharge solution eliminates almost all the extra steps — opening an app or using a card terminal to open and pay for charging. All the customer needs to do is connect the cable to the car and all further operations, meaning charging and payment, will be done automatically,” said Teedo Melts, head of e-mobility at Circle K Baltics.

Circle K is the first to offer Autocharge in Estonia, and among the first in Europe.
