Estonian swimmer Eneli Jefimova wins 100m breaststroke gold at European Championships

Estonian swimmer Eneli Jefimova won the gold medal in the women’s 100-meter breaststroke at the 2024 European Aquatics Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, on Wednesday evening.

Jefimova completed the distance in 1:06.41. Silver was won by Swiss swimmer Lisa Maimie, who was 0.74 seconds slower than Jefimova. Bronze was snatched by Swedish swimmer Olivia Klint Ipsa, who was 1.32 seconds slower than Jefimova.

In the preliminaries on Tuesday morning, Jefimova completed the distance with a time of 1:06.67, with which she advanced to the semi-finals. Jefimova’s time in the semi-finals was 1:06.60, with which she made it to the final.
