The daily Postimees and the NGO Toeta Ukrainat are collecting donations to give a bus to the children of Staryi Sambir in Ukraine, which will start transporting local children attending sports training and hobby schools.
“Air raid alerts that constantly interrupt studies and hobby school activities should not spoil anyone’s childhood, but war is war and the children of one small town in Ukraine could be offered a little relief by a bus to go on excursions and competitions,” the daily writes.
The total volume of the project is 7,000 euros. The project can be supported on the website toetaukrainat.org or by transferring money to the NGO’s account EE627700771001531357 in LHV Pank. The transfer must include the keyword “lapsed”.
