During Midsummer holidays on June 23-24, Riga public transport will be free of charge, and there will be additional public transport provided, Rigas Satiksme municipal public transport company informed LETA.
On June 23-24, Rigas Satiksme buses, trolleybuses and trams will be free of charge, so passengers do not need to register their tickets.
Due to the Midsummer Night’s Eve events planned at Mezaparks, Grizinkalns and Dzeguzkalns, additional passenger transport runs will be organized from the city centre.
During the holidays, the parking lots operated by Rigas Satiksme will also be free of charge.
