Tesla establishes Tesla Lithuania in Vilnius

Tesla International of the Netherlands, which is owned by the US electric vehicle (EV) giant Tesla, is setting up a company in Lithuania – Tesla Lithuania.

According to the Center of Registers, the company was established in Vilnius on Wednesday and it is headed by Kim Gaba Jensen, a Danish national who is also Tesla’s Northern Europe regional manager.

Tesla Lithuania’s articles of association state that the company’s activities include the import, repair, maintenance and sale of electric cars, storage devices and power generation equipment.

According to the Center of Registers, the company is located in the Park Town business center on Lviv Street in the Lithuanian capital.

Tesla Lithuania’s articles of association state that its authorized capital is 230,000 euros.

Back in 2021, Elinta Charge, a developer and manufacturer of EV charging stations, installed Tesla Supercharger fast-charging stations – the first in Lithuania – in Kaunas.

Earlier, in February 2020, representatives of Tesla visited Vilnius. BNS sources said at the time that Tesla was interested in developing a network of charging stations for electric cars in Lithuania and was looking for a site for a car dealership.
