The Vilnius authorities will distribute a special publication on preparing for possible crisis situations to the residents of the capital.
According to the description of the public tender announced in late July, the 24-page publication “In case of a crisis or war: How to act?” will have a print run of at least 200,000 copies.
The maximum amount to be spent on the distribution of the information publication is estimated at 72,600 euros. The publication is expected to reach Vilnius residents in the fall, it said.
This measure is part of the Vilnius defense plan unveiled in July. It consists of two parts. The defense support part includes an action plan covering a counter-mobility fleet, a drone ecosystem with a new flying space, military commandant’s offices and the reception of the German brigade assigned to Lithuania.
And the plan to strengthen civil protection covers includes a shelter network, evacuation plans and communication with citizens.
