Lithuanian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Eitvydas Bajarunas, accused of mobbing and abuse of office, has been suspended and recalled to Vilnius for consultations.
“On Monday, Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis signed a ministerial order suspending the functions of Eitvydas Bajarunas, ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Sultanate of Oman and Portugal, as of 19 October, until the mission’s constructive and productive work is restored,” the Foreign Ministry said.
