European Commission Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis visiting Estonia

European Commission Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis is on a visit to Estonia on Monday in order to attend Estonia’s Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) annual meeting focusing on the competitiveness of the economy.

Dombrovskis will also meet with Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, the Riigikogu and the Bank of Estonia president.

The vice president will also give a speech at the “Market Access Day” seminar, which is to be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in order to introduce the European Union’s tools to help Estonian entrepreneurs enter third country markets.

Dombrovskis is accompanied by the leaders of the European Commission’s trade, energy and economic and financial affairs.

During the bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, topics of discussion will include the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Facility funds, trade relations with the United States, foreign trade-related issues, support for Ukraine, and strengthening the competitive conditions of the European internal market.
