Tallink to add Victoria I to Tallinn-Stockholm route for 2024 summer season

Tallink Silja Line announced that it will temporarily add the company’s vessel Victoria I to the popular Tallinn-Stockholm route between May 31 and August 31 to operate in tandem with the route’s other vessel Baltic Queen and thus increasing departures between the two Nordic capitals for the three summer months and peak travel months of 2024.

Victoria I, which is currently operating on the company’s Tallinn-Helsinki route providing short one-night cruises between Estonia and Finland, will temporarily start operating on the Tallinn-Stockholm route from the evening of May 31 and will operate on the route until August 31. The last Victoria I departure on the Tallinn-Stockholm route will take place from Stockholm on the evening of August 30 and the vessel will re-start operations on the Tallinn-Helsinki route from August 31.

Ticket sales for Victoria I Tallinn-Stockholm route will open on February 6.

“We saw customer demand increase on the Tallinn-Stockholm route for more frequent departures already in summer 2023, so this year we have decided to offer our customers what they have asked for during the summer peak travel season and give everyone the opportunity to travel between our two Nordic capitals more easily,” Tallink Grupp CEO Paavo Nogene said.

“Victoria I will return to the Tallinn-Helsinki route again at the end of the summer to continue to provide amazing cruising opportunities to Tallinn for our Finnish customers and in the summer, we invite our Finnish customers to use the green shuttle bridge travel option connecting Estonia and Finland,” he added.

Victoria I will also operate special cruises from Helsinki and Tallinn to Visby this summer. More information regarding the dates and ticket sales for these special cruises will be shared in the coming weeks.
